At only 15 years of age, I’m the youngest artist in my field. However, age doesn’t separate my skills or quality of service from any of the older, more experienced artists.

I started drawing on myself in class, and after several scoldings and lectures on how ink is bad for my skin, I switched to henna, and before long I was being asked to do henna by my friends and relatives. I was more or less introduced to bridal henna when I first looked through a bridal magazine and a design by Ash Kumar caught my eye.

Ever since then, there wasn’t a day when my arm wasn’t filled to the elbow in imitations of bridal henna. When my humanities teacher told us about a year long project called défi (challenge) we had to work on, I decided to start my own bridal henna service, because not only was it something I could do, but something I could and eventually will expand and have made a career out of.

Because I wasn’t taught this art, I have my own unique style, and can also do any design you desire, whether it’s a tattoo or bridal henna.
